A 33-year-old man in Winterveldt, South Africa, Feselani Mcube, has been found guilty of raping a pregnant goat and will be sentenced in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s court on Tuesday, November 20.   SPCA inspector Mishack Matlou confirmed that Mcube was arrested in the early hours of August 9, Women’s Day, after he was caught pants down on the animal. Many people were killed after Boko Haram members invaded Kofa community in Konduga local government area of Borno state on Wednesday night Oct 31st. The Nigeria Labour Congress has asked Nigerians to stock up on food as it will soon shut down the entire country. NLC said this in a communiqué issued at the end of an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council in Abuja on Tuesday. In the communiqué signed by the President of the NLC,  Ayuba Wabba , and its General Secretary,  Dr Peter Ozo-Eson , the union directed all affiliate unions, state councils, civil society allies, the informal sector and other friends of workers and lovers of democracy to commence immediate mobilisation of their members. The NLC lambasted the government for its ‘no work, no pay’ policy, adding that what should have been implemented was ‘no pay, no work’.   The statement added, “The NEC advised Nigerians to start stocking up food and other necessities of life as workers will ensure a total shut down of the country. The trial of 53-year-old Lekan Shonde, who has been in prison custody since 2016 after his wife, Ronke Shonde died during a fight at their home in the Egbeda area of Lagos state, continued at the Ikeja Hiogh Court yesterday October 24th.
